Four Seasons of Kanas

Any season or any day, you should go to Kanas, its scenes are different in different season or in different date.

A man should go to Kanas at least three times all his life, one time in Spring or Summer, one time in Autumn, one time in Winter.

1.Spring

  Colorful, bright mountain
flowers in full bloom, diversified
wild natural flowers burstly opened that  forms a calm sea of flowers.

White yurts, sheep-herd, cloud patches, that mix with the colorful and fragrant grasslands. The lake water of Kanas in spring is full of green ripples, crystal-clear and translucent.  The spring in the mountain always comes in a stately manner. Perhaps in Maythe piled-snow in the low-hilly pastureland begins to thaw, the plants immediate turn green from the slope to the foot of the valley along with a warm breezelike an overflowing green cascadesflowing out here and therethusappears a green seafilled with spring breath at every corner.

The kanas is endowed with rich light and heat resources, ample rainfall, fertile soil, lush herding grass, strong aroma filling the air and colorful, idyllic grassland scenery.

The pasture looks like a flannelette blanket of dazzling beauty, where various wild flowers vie in bloom in amazing colors. Trollflower, tulip and water crowfoot become thoroughly golden; bright wild poppy flowers are swaying in breeze; forget-me-not, Delphinium and alfalfa compete against one another in purple, interspersed by wild turnips which are as white as cloud. It is a wilderness of flowers and green heaven. in the green sea and colourful flowers are dotted with herdsmen's tents, with white cloud and flocks of sheep under the blue sky flowing, massing and scattering upward and downward cattle and horses partly hidden and partly visible. What a scenery in wild grassland it is.

2.Summer

Emerald, green brilliant, the vast earth seems
covered with green blanket, not a single spot is
contaminated.
The thick mist resembles verily like the holy white gauze kerchief that flutters and curls up. With a deep breath that refreshing the mind.
The water of Kanas lake in white because that a white water from the upper reach of the river that flows into the lake, then the lake water is dyed into a milk-white color, thus shows a special miraculous scenery.

In July, August each year, one is often caught in heavy rain ,which will downpour at a kink of eyes along with the low cloud and to the accompaniment of rumbling thunder, beating ,mildly or roughly ,on the twigs or roughly ,on the twigs and meadows noisily, Around is a vast blur of mist and rain and in the midst of a raging storm is swaying every.

The rain won't last long. No sooner had the rain stopped, the ridges, forest and meadow will out freshly and converge into countless white bands twining the mountainside.A line or even two lines of rainbow rise up like a dream and stay in the air for a long time. The thick and green trees reflected on the rushing river overflow with the colour of green.

3.Autumn

Layered forests, thick clothes of dazzling beauty, the first snow begins to accumulate on the mountain peaks, the mountain slopes and forest which originally covered by green color then turns into a large patch of golden-yellow, blood-red, rose pink colored leaves. The whole mountain and plain get more sprayed perfumed with the autumn fragrance.

In the Kanas, no other seasons are better than autumn, which is both grand magician. As autumn breeze begins to blow, the summit is covered with white snow, cold current, partly visible and partly invisible, hovers low in the mountain side. Wild crimson elm, orange red birch, golden larch and emerald green spruce become colourful in autumn scenery. All the plants are involved in the amusement of colours. The previous slopes covered with cushion-like green grass are mottled with golden-yellow, blood-red and rosy colours. The whole wilderness overflows with scent of thick autumn. The leaves, like morning or evening glow, topple rustling as the copper belis hung up in the mountain do in autumn breeze; like yellow butterflies in late spring or like eolian bells for temple and pagoda, sound clear and pleasant enough to arouse in one a feeling of profound respect.

As the sun sets , leaning on a balcony and looking at the higher peaks rising in emerald verdure in the distance, one will notice that every tree is bathed in evening glow ,as bright as a fire. The peaks reflected on the lake hold up the blood-colored gauze. The Kanas settlement is tuck in the shadow of a giant massif. The kitchen smoke rising up from Tuwa people's log cabins has become so red that it melts into autumn scene, with a peaceful atmosphere.

The ait in the Crouching Dragon Bay, shaping like a crouching dragon, is soaked by autumn landscape. The thick green water in the Moon Bay shines dazzling glow. The river courses in the Immortal  Bay crisscross the autumn forest. The evening glows are soaked in greenness and reflected on the lake.

The Kanas River winding its way in the valley is totally devoid of surging romantic momentum, with less quantity of water .The riverbed is daubed with bright colors by fallen leaves as if every stretch of water were filled with sunlight. The Kanas River is just a painting brush dipped fully in thick colours,  fluttering with breeze.

When the first light of morning gleams on the horizon, the ice and frost on both banks of the Kanas river gradually begin to thaw and the valley forest, stone shoals, meadows and Tuwa people's log cabins reveal their true hues. Morning light shines on the river through slits of the moving cattle herds and house droves. Since the temperature of the river is higher than the air around, the water vapor drizzly rising from the river converges more and more, thus forming a thick air current above the valley. When sunlight strongly shines on the top layer of vapor, the valley-forest belt show, from fog. its twigs and branches, unusually dazzling. The early risers fetch water by the river while blowing off white air in a such a beautiful mountain with green water nearby, as if they were at a paradise on earth.

The autumn scene has become thicker and snow mountains shine brilliantly like billows. The red leaves have faded away and all the mountain, stillness abound in the whole wilderness.

4.Winter

The winter in kanas is calmly wrapped with silver dress.Everywhere of this miraculous
earth will be covered by the thick snow, holy and calm.

The snow and mist crystals quietly hang on the cedar branches, Only the sledges of Tuwa people run and swing to and fro on the vast snowfield.

The place in winter is an isolated world. Some-meter-thick snow has completely blockaded this piece of magical land and the sky also seems to be frozen. Such a state will last seven months.

However, the sun still rises and sets and the kitchen smokes, standing for Tuwa people's life, keep on curling up. The previous lake landscape and mountain scenery, both distinctive and superb, have turned into a whole white world, which is dazzling bright, dainty and exquisite. The Tuwa people's village has already been reigned by an atmosphere of vigor and enthusiasm in such a vast snow plain.
